| During my medical school years a great job opportunity presented itself… a summer job as a “beach doctor” at the States Avenue tent in Atlantic City, New Jersey. It was then, in 1968, that my appreciation of the South Jersey Lifeguard beganand with it a lifelong passion to capture the stamina, bravery, strength, and beauty of Lifeguards through my photography.Of special interest have been the competitions,both the men and women, featuring all theSouthern Jersey Beach Patrols between Brigantine and Cape May.All of the important local races as well as national competitions have been photographed. |
